Hi Family!!
How are you doing?? This week was a fast one as we tried to
get things figured out. We weren't sure if my current companion was going into
a trio in another area or staying here in a trio with me and my newbie
companion. Last night we got word that she has changes and based on rumors will
be going to her first area to finish her mission. I'm not going to lie, I'm
pretty nervous to be here without my companion but I know it will be a good
experience for me to rely even more on the Lord and his help. Every time I
think that maybe it's not going to work out well, I just think about how many people
have trained, how many will be training this cycle and how many future
missionaries there are still to go out into the world. They too will need
trainers and those trainers will also have to rely on the Lord and on the
spirit to help their new companion adjust.
This week I've been searching out all the English Liahonas I
can find in our apartment and I've found quite a few! Many are the Conference
issue and I so excited to have conference in just a few weeks! I loved
Conference weekend at home but in the mission I look forward to it even more.
There is always so much good counsel and I already have some questions ready
for Conference. One article I loved was about why we need Christ's
Church. Lots of people we talk to say that they don't need a church and
that they have faith and they pray. They sincerely believe that's enough,
but it's not! Finding this article has helped me feel more prepared for when we
find the next person who says they're fine without. I've included it
