thoughts on travel

I'm not a blogger (at least not yet) but I promised some close friends that I would look into creating a blog and when I realized how easy it was, I realized it might be a worthwhile way to keep friends and family updated on my adventures this next semester.  I'm not sure how entertaining this will be, or if I will even remember to keep it up (hopefully though, I will).

I don't really have much to say just yet about my travels.  I haven't started packing, maybe on Sunday I will?  I realized that since I left my apartment in Utah and headed home via Omaha and Columbus, I've been constantly on the move.  I was home scarcely a day before leaving to visit my wonderful sister and brother-in-law in Providence for about five days before returning home where I've been for almost a week now.  This time next week however, I will be settled into my room in London, my home for the next three and a half months.  I'm so excited but surprisingly pretty nervous.  I'm sure once I actually get there I will be fine but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

[In the space of four consecutive days, I drove (or was in the car for) 2,624 miles which lasted about 45 hours. Thank goodness for friends and sisters who made the drive fly by.]
